The primary purpose of this position, DEMAND PROGRAM SPECIALIST, NH-0301-02, is to serve as a Forecast Demand Specialist involved in performing long/mid-range and short-term material planning for the repair, overhaul, manufacturer, and modification of various complex weapon systems as well-as a variety of associated assets. - Develop Collaborative Demand Plan for Consumable Items. - Evaluate and forecast the material requirements for a wide variety of commodities, aircraft, or missiles, etc. - Assess material changes/requirements identified during reviews. - Perform material studies to accurately determine piece parts requirements and when they are needed in the repair process, to include parts obsolescence and interchangeable/substitutable.
