- OVERVIEW
Agricultural Trading Company Limited (ATC), a subsidiary of AHL Group Plc, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Counter Sales Clerk.
The successful candidate will be responsible for serving customers, selling agricultural-related products and services, providing product advice, and supporting effective branch sales and stock management operations.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Sell agricultural-related products and services to customers.
Provide technical advice to customers on the proper use of products.
Attend to customer enquiries and provide quality customer service.
Support achievement of branch sales targets.
- STOCK MANAGEMENT
Liaise with Branch Supervisors on product demand and restocking requirements.
Participate in periodic stock-taking exercises.
Update bin cards for all stocked and delivered products.
Ensure accurate product records are maintained.
- SALES ADMINISTRATION
Prepare daily sales summaries.
Conduct daily banking of sales proceeds.
Maintain accurate sales documentation.
Perform any other related duties assigned by the Supervisor.
- Requirements
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should possess:
Certificate or Diploma in Business Management, Accounts, Marketing, or related field.
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
Minimum of two (2) years’ working experience.
Excellent computer skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
