about us
The CFMEU Construction & General Division represents over 80,000 workers and is one of Australia’s strongest and most active trade unions. We organise workers, improve safety standards, win better wages and conditions, and lead campaigns that create lasting change across the construction industry. As the Union continues its reform journey under Administration, we are building a modern, transparent and member-centred national organisation ready to return to democratic control.
about the role
The CFMEU is undertaking a major digital transformation program focused on modernising its core systems and improving national consistency. This includes replacing the long-standing AS400 membership system with a modern CRM platform that will serve as the shared digital foundation across branches, implementing an Electronic Document and Records Management System (eDRMS), and consolidating onto SharePoint as the organisation's national document management and collaboration platform. Complementary initiatives, including enhanced records management, AI governance and policy development, and broader cloud modernisation, will be delivered in parallel.
The change manager role will support the delivery of the CFMEU’s digital transformation portfolio by coordinating and managing the people side of change across multiple concurrent initiatives over the next two years. The role will coordinate change activities, communications, training and engagement, focusing on building organisational capability and readiness for change.
Please view the attached position description for further information.
