Applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited for the following vacancies which have arisen within Marondera Rural District Council.

CASHIER (GRADE 3)

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY RESULT AREAS

* Collecting cash from Council Clinics, Sub-Offices and wards.* Balancing receipts allocation forms.* Sending receipts through email and WhatsApp to all clients who would have paid through the bank and other online platforms.* Keeping safe all cash received and security items issued for use.* Updating Council database for ratepayers.* Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

* National Diploma in Accounting; a higher qualification will be an added advantage.* No criminal record.* At least 3 years’ experience in a related environment.* At least 25 years old.
