Functionally tests, troubleshoots, inspects, adjusts, aligns, calibrates, repairs and overhauls the entire range of aircraft electrical systems to ensure maximum operating efficiency. Performs general, major and limited depot maintenance on Army fixed and/or rotor wing aircraft. Selects, operates, maintains and repairs specialized electrical measuring and shop equipment. Solves unusual maintenance problems by studying layout drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics. Performs such travel as may be required in the accomplishment of assigned duties and the organizational mission. May assist authorized firefighting in the performance of fire/crash rescue duties. Performs other duties as assisgned.
