Accounts Manager (Finance)

Client & Financial Management:

• Oversee the preparation of full sets of accounts for multiple clients across various industries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS, MPERS, IFRS).
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including financial statements and management reports.
• Present and elucidate management accounts and account analysis to clients, demonstrating the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.

Stakeholder Liaison:

• Collaborate with clients, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and statutory authorities to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth operations.

Team Leadership & Client Advisory:

• Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior accountants, ensuring high standards of performance.
• Conduct internal training and knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the team updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Serve as the key client liaison for management reports.
• Lead by example by allocating, monitoring, and reviewing team members’ work, fostering a collaborative and supportive work culture.

Management Skills:

• Work closely with internal auditors and tax consultants.
• Supervise and support the accounts team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Undertake other ad hoc assignments as required by management from time to time.
