Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:• Assist in data entry and maintaining financial records.• Payment processing and ensuring that payment requisitions are authorised.• Support bank reconciliations and petty cash management.• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.• Assist in filing and organizing accounting documents.• Participate in audits by gathering required documents.• Learn and apply accounting software for transactions.• Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should have the following minimum qualifications:• Studying towards Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.• Good communication and teamwork abilities.• Ability to handle confidential financial information.• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
