Providing support to the financial accounting function daily through the co-ordination and presentation of relevant financial accounting schedule and reports.
Core Responsibilities:
Settle all sales invoices created by PCJ for all customers, excluding CBL, and generate credit notes to ensure CBL receives both credit notes and invoices daily.
Assist with issues or queries related to fixed assets, complete inventory adjustments and inventory reconciliation issues, create and clear per diem, provide general support for travel advance processes, and provide support for clearing pending bank entries of a settlement nature.
Prepare disposal documents for removal from the fixed assets register and provide general support for movements on the fixed assets register.
Prepare purchase documents for fixed asset purchases (coolers PRs).
Conduct settlement reconciliation to ensure all invoices created are settled within the same period of creation. Ensure credit notes are posted promptly to close outstanding routes, assist with preparing and presenting Working Capital Analysis to optimize the company’s Cash Flow, and manage the inventory reconciliation process.
Review and administer changes to the register where necessary, including capitalization of WIP and inventory items.
Coordinate the monthly stock count inventory and post inventory adjustments monthly. Prepare journals, review warehouse inventories, re-review obsolete inventory monthly, and assist with posting adjustments for export reconciliation.
Assist with posting adjustments for export reconciliation; coordinate, reconcile and post adjustments based on the reconciliation of the maintenance and spares stock count; and provide assistance with the external audit process.
Follow up on the Capex approval process, ensuring the design and use of sustainable tools in the process.
- Qualifications
B.Sc. Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. With 1-2 years experience in similar a capacity.
Working experience in Inventory, Reconciliation or a similar area. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
