We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing Nairobi team.

Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting reports. • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions. • Perform monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations. • Prepare statutory reports and assist with tax compliance. • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies. • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. • Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems. • Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities when required. • Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. • CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage. • Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting. • Mandatory experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain industry. • Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and accounting principles. • Good knowledge of Kenyan tax regulations and statutory compliance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
