About the Position: The DPW provides infrastructure, engineering resources, housing and facility management support and services incorporating sustainable development. It's DPW's mission to ensure the long-term viability of the installation's ability to support the military and joint base community. Operate a Wastewater Plant that functions 24 hours a day on alternating shifts with full responsibility for operation of the plant while on shift. Detail knowledge of all laboratory tests and analysis to determine treatment required and make adjustments to treatment processes and pump controls. Collect various samples for both plant operation and Discharge Monitoring Reporting. Perform and document plant maintenance and make equipment repairs. Record information in the proper logs and prepare monthly operating reports. Able to read, interpret and apply numerous technical publications and manuals.
