You will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of classified and/or unclassified systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. As a Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist (Security) at the GS-2210- 14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Providing expert cyber related and technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to USMS management. Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices. Preparing and maintaining detailed technical, project planning, and management documentation concerning computer security projects. Advising and interacting with executive level officials.
