This position is located in OCHCO Employee Services Division. The ideal candidate for this position will be a Labor and Employee Relations leader with proven supervisory experience, expert federal HR policy knowledge, and skill advising leaders on complex conduct, performance, grievance, labor relations, and workforce matters. What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a first-line supervisor responsible for the day-to-day supervision and oversight of human resources staff. Typical assignments include: Leading Labor and Employee Relations staff by assigning work, setting priorities, reviewing work products, evaluating performance, and providing guidance on complex HR matters. Advising supervisors, managers, and senior executives on complex conduct, performance, attendance, grievance, disciplinary, dispute resolution, and labor relations matters. Developing, reviewing, and recommending policies, procedures, guidance, standard operating procedures, and process improvements for assigned Labor and Employee Relations program areas.
