This position, located at the OKC VA Health Care System VA Lawton VA Clinic, Office of the Associate Director, serves as the Executive Leadership Team's on-site and regional representative assigned to conduct administrative oversight for various outpatient clinics throughout the Facility coverage areas.
Major duties of this position include but is not limited to: Oversees and maintains business operations at assigned sites Effectively implements improvements in workflow processes impacting a multidisciplinary group of staff through influence and/or direct supervision Ensure effective utilization of resources at assigned locations and effective implementation of VHA and facility-specific initiatives Serves as the contracting officer's representative for active leased clinic locations Provides active and well-informed administrative participation in planning for the delivery of health care by taking the initiative to identify needs and potential issues/concerns and devising solutions in operations Develops processes to implement long and short-range strategies that support VHA directives and/or Facility policies Provides coordination of on-site requests for resource requests through collaboration with Service leadership and the ELT Participates in regularly occurring construction rounds, safety/EOC rounds and the Annual Workplace Evaluation Collaborates with Facility leadership and guides OPC staff in developing and/or executing policies, processes and programs concerning the delivery of accessible, high-quality, cost-effective health care Provides staffing assistance support to the Associate Director in addition to duties at assigned clinics Discusses, investigates and responds to employee grievances and dissatisfactions as requested for fact finding investigations reporting back to the appropriate management official. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Telework: This position may be authorized for AD-HOC telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
