What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a Deputy to the Fire Chief. Typical assignments include: Assisting in the development of emergency response plans and improved techniques for mitigating consequences of emergencies. Assisting the Fire Chief in planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating the work of the section. Evaluating work programs directed toward establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient working relationship among all activities.
