About the Role
Super Matcha Philippines, a renowned matcha beverage brand from Korea, is looking for a Senior Barista to support daily bar operations and ensure consistent beverage quality and exceptional customer service.
The Senior Barista plays an important leadership role on the floor by guiding baristas during shifts, maintaining operational standards, and supporting store performance.
This role works closely with the Shift Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Beverage Preparation & Quality Control
Prepare and serve high-quality matcha beverages following Super Matcha standards
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and preparation methods
Maintain cleanliness of bar stations, equipment, and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Team Support & Training
Guide, mentor, and support baristas during shifts
Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
Promote teamwork, efficiency, and professionalism on the floor
Customer Service & Brand Representation
Deliver excellent customer service and assist with basic customer concerns
Promote new products and support in-store promotions and campaigns
Represent and uphold the Super Matcha brand through service excellence
Operations & Inventory Support
Assist in inventory monitoring, stock rotation, and ingredient handling
Support efficient bar workflow and daily operations
Coordinate with supervisors regarding operational requirements
Other Duties
Perform other related tasks assigned by management to support store operations and company objectives
Qualifications
At least 1–2 years of barista experience is required, preferably in a café, specialty coffee, or tea concept
Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and bar equipment handling
Experience guiding or mentoring junior baristas is an advantage
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Willing to work shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays
Passion for matcha, café culture, and beverage craftsmanship
