About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 116TH MI Brigade, 15TH MI Battalion Fort Hood, TX. Serves as the Command Security Manager and Special Security Officer (SSO). Provides oversight, guidance and advice to supported activities and security and intelligence personnel who under the direction of the SSO are responsible for the establishment, management and implementation of SCI security programs. Manages the overall execution of the personnel, physical, industrial and information security programs within the organization’s (AOR). Serves as the Primary Action Officer for coordination of security services in support of contractors and reservists assigned to difficult and complex work in the organization.
