You will serve as a member of the entry control/vehicle inspection team which conducts private and commercial vehicles inspections. You will be an integral part of the inspection process by ensuring the safety of the inspectors. You will have the ability to retain all persons found to be unauthorized to enter the installation. You will make sound decisions regarding vehicle entry control issues based on experience and good judgment. You will have the ability to direct vehicles and pedestrian traffic during emergencies and normal rush hour traffic to ensure that the entry control process is run in accordance of established procedures and naval regulations. You will take action in the event of emergency situations to include but not limited to accidents/incidents/drills, fire or other natural disasters, motor vehicle/industrial accidents, political demonstrations, hostage/terrorist situations, etc.
