The Staff Development Clinical Nurse Educator is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for providing proficient, evidence-based education to staff. Duties include but are not limited to: Providing expert, evidence-based education to staff. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates educational needs to facilitate learner development and skill training of clinical staff. Utilizes innovative teaching strategies, assessment skills, and evaluation of outcomes. Provides educational instruction and training for nursing staff in clinical and outpatient units. The Staff Development Clinical Nurse Educator understands instructional design, implementation, and application related to education and training.
