The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Full-Time Registered Nurse-Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Coordinator. The Registered Nurse will serve as the RQI Coordinator within Nursing Education Service. The RQI Coordinator trains staff, manages BLS/ALS, and ensures RQI program compliance.

The RQI Coordinator duties include but are not limited to: Deliver, coordinate, and maintain high-quality BLS and ALS education across all departments in alignment with RQI program standards. Assess staff learning needs and develop concise, evidence-based training and simulation experiences. Organize, facilitate, and evaluate mock codes; support interdisciplinary review of emergency response performance. Monitor RQI compliance, maintain accurate training documentation, and provide timely reports for leadership. Analyze training and performance data to measure outcomes and recommend improvements to education programs. Collaborate with leaders and committees to identify training priorities and support staff competency and clinical decision-making.
