This position is located at: Outdoor Recreation - Fort Riley, Kansas. The Fort Riley Outdoor Recreation Program is a multi-use recreation facility with a multitude of amenities and services. This is a developmental position. After one year of satisfactory performance in the NF-01 Recreation Aid (Developmental) position, the incumbent may be eligible for non-competitive promotion to NF-02 Recreation Assistant at management's request. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory. Receives and resolves customer complaints. Provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Assists in planning, conducting, and arranging support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. Performs other duties as assigned
