Responsibilities:
Oversee daily quality control and assurance operations in the production facility Conduct routine inspections, audits, and product tests to ensure compliance Develop and enforce food safety and quality control procedures Ensure compliance with SON (Standards Organisation of Nigeria) and NAFDAC (National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) regulations Maintain accurate quality records and documentation Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality practices Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints or issues
Requirements:
Minimum of B.Sc in Food Science, Microbiology, or any food-related discipline At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar Quality Control/Assurance role within the food industry, particularly in a spice production company In-depth knowledge of SON and NAFDAC policies, regulations, and compliance procedures Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Candidates within and around Nasarawa will be considered
