Perform advanced access and invasive diagnostic procedures, including paracentesis and thoracentesis. Collaborate with primary care providers, consultants, and specialists to coordinate inpatient care. Supervise and educate students, residents, and advanced practice providers. Document patient care in the electronic medical record and participate in medical staff activities.
