Perform highly responsible duties in the advanced examination, diagnosis and treatment of inpatients for the Internal Medicine Service. Examine and conduct thorough studies of patients presented with medical management problems based on the level of professional ability. Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings; differentiating among the various contributory causes and prescribe appropriate treatment. Serve as the attending physician and admit and discharges patients to the Medical Wards and Step-Down units. Provide administrative and direct supervision of assigned personnel including, but not limited to, students, residents, and advanced practitioners.
