Prepare and administer high-risk medications as well as intravenous fluids, in support of initiating advanced cardiovascular life support interventions. Assess patients cardiac output, vital signs, peripheral perfusion, and level of consciousness, and evaluate blood gas results, including arterial and mixed venous oxygen saturation. Assess the effectiveness of nursing interventions based on patient responses and modify the care plan as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
