About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas. Please see the "Additional Information" for incentives offered. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation.
Perform a wide variety of complex diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury.
Utilize diagnostic two-dimensional imaging, spectral Doppler analysis, color and power Doppler, angio techniques, and real-time ultrasound imaging across multiple organ systems.
Analyze sonographic findings to distinguish between normal and pathological conditions.
Provide comprehensive training, instruction, and technical oversight to military personnel, sonographers, students, radiology residents, emergency room residents, and physician assistants.
Perform routine and periodic quality control testing, including phantom imaging and system performance evaluations.
