Ensures the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, work products, and services. Articulates and communicates team assignments, projects, problems, actionable events, milestones, program issues, and deadlines. Independently or as a Team Leader, serves as a technical expert for Compliance Domain systems development and undertakes technically complex projects/studies requiring coordination across functional lines service wide. Develops or assists other developers with software applications for the PC/Server/Web portal environment, using languages and technologies such as Java, J2EE, XML, HTML, SOAP, SQL, DB2, Oracle, other object-oriented language and/or other Web technologies. This includes understanding syntax, creating, compiling, executing, testing, and debugging programs, functions, and objects. Probationary Period - All newly appointed employees to the competitive (or excepted) service are subject to a probationary (or trial) period. During this time, your performance, conduct, and suitability for continued employment will be evaluated. You will not automatically convert to permanent status at the end of the probationary (or trial) period. Your supervisor must affirmatively determine that continued employment is in the best interest of the Federal service.
