You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Financial Management Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization. You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization. You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. You will coordinate the development and reporting of cost/performance information in support of mission tasks for the organization. You will conduct management evaluation of issues of financial consequence raised in audit reports, budget reviews, etc. and recommend alternatives for corrective action. You will distribute and balance workload among employees considering skill level or specialization, timeframes for completion, and priorities. You will train or arrange for training of employees in team work and/or specific technical training as necessary.
