This position is also being announced to applicants eligible to apply through Merit Staffing procedures under 26-AK-13024432-MS. * Special Rate Table #99AA applies to GS-7 and GS-9. If selected for this position, you will serve as an Information Technology Specialist responsible for providing technical and analytical support to meet the information management and litigation support needs of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO). You will support attorneys and staff by providing technology solutions for electronic evidence, case preparation, trial support, and secure information systems. The USAO IT environment includes Windows workstations, enterprise networks, litigation support applications, case management systems, and courtroom technology. Typical work assignments include: -Coordinate litigation support services, including trial preparation and courtroom presentation, in response to customer needs. -Test, configure, install, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot litigation support hardware and software. -Resolve hardware, software, and system interoperability issues affecting litigation support operations. -Maintain the inventory and operational readiness of litigation support equipment and technology assets. -Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data by implementing and supporting information security policies, procedures, and technical controls. -Design, develop, implement, and maintain internet, intranet, and extranet resources that support litigation operations -Provide customer support, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, technical assistance, and end-user training - Assist with planning, policy development, and process improvements related to litigation support and information technology services. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
