You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM MECHANIC in the CNRSE JAX of NAVSTA MAYPORT. You will maintain and repair fuel storage and distribution systems, using hand and power tools and testing instruments. You will inspect fuel receiving, storage, and distribution facilities to detect and correct leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and malfunction of mechanical units, meters, and gauges. You will perform test work on fuel pumping, filtering and hardware systems for RDT and E product tests and examine pumping systems for leaks and repairs. You will receive, store, transfer and issue liquid petroleum fuels, lubes, liquid and waste oils. You will operate and maintain various types of pumps and other equipment used in the receipt and issue of bulk petroleum products. You will inspect receipt of product for quantity and type, water and other visible contamination.
