About the Position: Serves as a Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System Technician in a Medical Treatment Facility, responsible for a variety of duties associated with the collection, analysis, maintenance, consolidation, evaluation of budget and accounting, cost, manpower, and productivity data for the Department of Defense Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Coordinates with the appropriate Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System Program Office and the Defense Health Agency offices on the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System Prepares numerous budget and accounting cost management reports and analyzes data for accuracy, discrepancies, and trends Conducts research when data does not appear to follow current or historical trends and resolves errors and/or questionable data. Develops special reports for local needs and potential impacts on the organization and the servicing area. Reviews, interprets, and maintains current knowledge of regulations, directives, manuals, etc., relating to the Department of Defense Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System
