Descripción del Puesto
Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with upstream, midstream, or downstream operations.
Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity positions, and working capital to ensure operational continuity.
Supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury functions, ensuring efficient transaction processing.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian oil and gas fiscal regimes, including Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) tax obligations, royalties, and levies.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the timely completion of statutory and management audits.
Develop and enforce internal financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Provide financial analysis and decision support to senior management on investment appraisals, cost optimization, and capital allocation.
Manage relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee fixed asset management, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking for oil and gas equipment and facilities.
Prepare financial reports for joint venture partners, PSC parties, and other stakeholders as required.
Supervise and mentor the finance team, conducting performance appraisals and identifying training needs
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA (mandatory).
Minimum of 4–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in the oil and gas sector.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, PIA provisions, oil and gas fiscal regimes, and Costing.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Experience in Manufacturing.

Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
Excellent leadership and team management ability.
High level of integrity and professional ethics.
Sound judgement and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Effective communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
