About the Position: As the Facility Services Assistant, the primary role is to assist with the ongoing, maintenance, control and administration of a preventative maintenance control program and/or automated data system. Additionally, the incumbent will provide support for the operations and maintenance of major land plant, floating plant, and navigation facilities. Preparing annual reports which may consist of statistical graphs and/or comparison reports. Compiling data to review maintenance needs. Utilizing the maintenance system to enter and/or update equipment and maintenance information. Resolving and/or recommending advice on the continuous updates on the facility equipment maintenance system. Developing specific project instructional guidance materials. Obtaining information from crew supervisors and work leaders that could affect future workload adjustments. This position supports the Dredge and MAY require occasional travel while the Dredge is working in other Districts.
