Perform patient counseling on the cause of dental decay, proper oral hygiene practices, brushing and flossing techniques. Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extra-oral radiographs. Trim model from impressions to construct custom impression trays. Chart examination and treatment information as relayed by dentist to patient records. Perform chair-side assistance in the expanded functions in all phases of dentistry treatment.
