Prepares convenience items such as frozen hash browns, fish fillets and chicken nuggets. Some cooks at this level prepare and bake pizza. Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring or breading; weighs, measures and assembles ingredients for regular menu items Sets up and replenishes salad bar Portions foods for distribution and meal service, and covers, dates and stores leftovers according to established procedures. Washes and cleans kitchen equipment. Able to assist a full service coffee bar. Prepares a wide range of drinks including but not limited to; lattes, espresso, Americana, and cappuccinos by selecting the proper grind of coffee shot and following set recipes for each individual variation of drink. Must be able to follow basic cappuccino requirement of each type of drink including but not limited to; preheating the portafilter, knowing the difference in grinds of coffee, knowing how long should a shot take to brew into a cup, preheating the cup, how to "pull' and "tamp" in to the portafilter, difference in frothing and steaming milk, and able to know difference and relay information to customers on the difference in drink choices. Performs receiving and disbursing cashier duties. Sets up cappuccino bar for operation and obtains cash bank. Prepares documentation for cash funds accountability. Assists in the operation of the Bowling Center such as: assigns lanes; arranges for bowling rentals, charging them out to participants, and checking them for condition on their return.
